This wall tapestry is inspired by Peter Bruegel the Elder’s The Harvesters (1565). The painting, which depicts the months of July and August, was originally one of a six-part series, each representing two months of the year. The subject of the painting is a group of workers enjoying food and rest in a lush field of hay.
