This serving tray is inspired by a portrait of two favorite family dogs (c. 1700). Asinus, on the left, and Kokrle, on the right, wear blue and gold monogrammed collars and are seated on luscious velvet cushions. The painting is on permanent display in the Dog Room of the Lobkowicz Palace Museum. These dogs certainly received the royal treatment!
