This serving tray is inspired by the exquisite wall and ceiling paintings in the Chinese Belvedere Room (c. 1906) at the Lobkowicz Palace. The elaborate ceiling, framed with reliefs, reveals a blue sky surrounded by stylized branches, blossoms, birds, and butterflies painted in Art Nouveau style. The wall paintings below depict East Asian figures, mythical creatures, and other natural imagery.
