This is a reproduction of a print of Prague Castle — seat of the Czech kings for 1,000 years, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to the Lobkowicz Palace. The Lobkowicz Palace was built in the second half of the 16th century and came into the family’s possession through the marriage of Polyxena Pernštejn (1566–1642) to Zdenko Popel, 1st Prince Lobkowicz (1568–1628). This beautiful palace bore witness to many important historical events, from the 1618 Defenestration of Prague to Nazi and Communist occupation in the 20th century. This historical view includes the Vltava River.
