Made exclusively for the Lobkowicz Collections, this simple yet ornate design is inspired by the exquisite wall and ceiling paintings in the Chinese Belvedere Room (c. 1906) at the Lobkowicz Palace. The elaborate ceiling, framed with reliefs, reveals a blue sky surrounded by stylized branches, blossoms, birds, and butterflies painted in Art Nouveau style. The wall paintings below depict East Asian figures, mythical creatures, and other natural imagery.
