This reproduction depicting the map of Europe as a virginal young woman comes from the Czech translation of the cartographic work Itinerarium Sacrae Scriptuae, which was printed by the Czech humanist Daniel Adam of Veleslavin in 1592. The young woman wears the royal insignia, and Bohemia is depicted as a gold medal hanging from a chain in the heart of Europe.

The reproduction is the work of a local manufacturer and is printed on handmade paper produced in the only surviving paper mill in the Czech Republic.
